The school library equips students with life-long learning skills and develops the imagination, enabling them to live as responsible citizens. School Librarian empowers students to be Enthusiastic Reader, Critical Thinker, Skillful Researcher and Ethical User of Information.
The School Library of Kendriya Vidylaya Southern Command, Pune caters to the information needs of 100 staff and 2400 students. The KVSC Library is fully automated and offers online services to the members of the library through this library website and library blogs.
The School library has a collection of over 37,000 books and 58 periodicals. The library also have educational and general multimedia and is well equipped with five latest multimedia computers with Internet access.
The library is the technology hub of the Vidyalaya. also fully automated with the help of e-Granthalaya, Library Management software of NIC, NewDelhi and offers online services through Library’s WebOPAC, Library Website, Blogs and Digital Repository.
